About Marsa Alam

Marsa Alam is an Egyptian tourist city located in the Red Sea Governorate. It is considered one of the newly established cities, as its development began in 1995 through investments by the Kuwaiti Al-Kharafi Group, which adopted the establishment of the city with all its facilities, resorts and infrastructure, so that Marsa Alam became one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Egypt. The city is located on an area of 38,433 square kilometers, 274 km south of Hurghada, and 134 km south of Quseir, and its height above sea level ranges around 60 meters.
