About Indonesia
Indonesia is a huge country, both in terms of population and land area, with great cultural and geological diversity. With 18,110 islands, 6,000 of which are inhabited, it is the largest archipelago in the world. It has a population of around 240 million people from 300 ethnic groups speaking over 250 different languages. While Bali is usually the most popular destination for foreign visitors, there are a wealth of other Indonesian attractions to discover in this vast and diverse country.
