Byblos is a Lebanese city, the center of the Byblos District in Mount Lebanon Governorate. It is one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world, located 37 kilometers north of Beirut, on the Mediterranean Sea. It is considered one of the most famous archaeological sites in the region and one of the oldest cities in the world, and among the few sites that have continued to exist since their establishment until today.
