Beijing Olympic Park
Built on the northern edge of the city for the 2008 Olympic Games, Beijing Olympic Park is home to two notable landmarks.
The first is the National Stadium – known as the Bird's Nest – which takes its design inspiration from traditional Chinese porcelain.
The other is the National Aquatics Centre – nicknamed the Water Cube – where transparent bubbles sparkle after dark.

Lama Temple
Months Temples Buddhism outside of Tibet, it is also the most magnificent religious monument in Beijing.
It is located just north of the city centre.

Beihai Park
This thousand-year-old garden in the northwest corner of the Forbidden City is dominated by the White Pagoda (a religious building where Buddhist rituals are performed).Huge on top of the hill.

Shehua Cave
This cave is located an hour's drive west of the Chinese capital.
Shihua is nicknamed the Stone Flower Cave, due to the natural bright colors that illuminate the stalagmites and stalactites.
This cave complex extends up to eight floors underground, and visitors can only delve into the first four levels.

National Center for Dramatic Arts
The National Centre for the Performing Arts was unveiled in 2007 and quickly gained a reputation as one of the premier opera houses in Asia.
